Kaitlynn + Adam : Local Elopement Vignette

Wash and Forgive. Dry and Forget.

Kaitlynn and Adam's intimate hand-washing ceremony was the most darling elopement ever!

Before Kaitlynn and Adam's vows they were led by their officiant to wash their hands.
As they washed each others hands, Morgan reminded them that whatever difficulties they may have experienced, today they have decided that their love is bigger than any of them, and they have chosen a life together. Water brings forgiveness and we all need forgiveness. We need to forgive others and we need to forgive ourselves.

As they dried each others hands, Morgan reminded them that they have to be vulnerable — it breaks through isolation and in their own vulnerability, they become more caring and understanding of their mate. In a loving and compassionate marriage, to achieve the greatest intimacy, they must have the courage to be open and vulnerable to each other.

We ended our ceremony with a final toasts for all in attendance.
As they raised their glasses, Morgan led their toast.
"May your marriage bring you the exquisite excitement marriage should bring.
May you need on another, but not out of weakness.
May you look for things to praise, often 'I love you!' and take no notice of small faults.
May you have happiness, and may youfind it making one another happy.
May you have love, and may you find it loving one another."

Thank you Kaitlynn and Adam for letting us install this very sweet vignette.
